RT Guardian requires no subscription to operate. Instead, RT Guardian operates on a pay per use system of credits. The number of credits required to operate the device are:

| Disable Starter | 3 Credits |
| Re-enable Starter | 2 Credits |
Note: Credits are normally added to your user account within one business day. Credits are also available on the tracking site at a higher rate.
